West Ham have been linked with a move for Samir Nasri in the recent weeks.
The former Manchester City star is out of contract and the Hammers can sign him on a free transfer.
Nasri is currently serving a doping ban but he will be cleared to play from the start of 2019. It will be interesting to see if the Hammers manage to land him.
The midfielder has been spotted in West Ham colours and the fans took to Twitter to share their reactions.
It seems Nasri is currently training with West Ham. The Frenchman needs to regain his fitness and sharpness.
Nasri has worked with Pellegrini before and he could be a valuable addition to the West Ham side if he manages to regain his form. Also, the Chilean knows him well and he could bring out the best in the Frenchman.
West Ham are without the likes of Lanzini and Yarmolenko right now and they could use a creative force like Nasri.
Here are some of the reactions from the West Ham fans to the image of Nasri training with their side.

Get the boy training, see if he’s fit enough, if he is sign him up till the end of the season. No brainer!

Celtic man raves about 'unplayable' teammate who is 'on a different level'

Celtic man raves about 'unplayable' teammate who is 'on a different level' – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie was full of praise for his teammate James Forrest following the winger’s displays in the recent weeks.
Forrest has been unplayable for Celtic and Scotland in the last few games and Christie believes that players like him make it easier for others to perform well.
James Forrest has scored five goals in his last two games for Scotland and he has been operating at a similar level for his club as well. Brendan Rodgers will be hoping for more of the same when Celtic return to action after the international break this week.
Ryan Christie heaped praise on Forrest and claimed that his ‘touch and awareness is brilliant’.
He added that Forrest is currently on a different level and he is unplayable at times. He also explained that Forrest’s positive approach has been the key. Christie claims that Forrest is always looking to take players on from all across of the pitch.
The former Inverness player said: “It’s easy for me when you’ve got the likes of Jamesy Forrest and Ryan outside me and Fletch up top is a pleasure to play off, his touch and awareness is brilliant. Jamesy was on a different level so it’s easy for me to come in and keep feeding them. Jamesy took his finishes superbly. He is brilliant. When you have got him on form like he is just now, he is unplayable at times. He can pick up the ball in any area of the park and takes players on. He is always so positive and it makes our job easier to keep feeding the ball to him.”
It will be interesting to see if Forrest manages to keep playing at this level in the coming months. He could be crucial to Celtic’s title defence this season.

Nuno plotting January move for 23-yr-old, some Wolves fans react: 'Don't mind'

Nuno plotting January move for 23-yr-old, some Wolves fans react: 'Don't mind' – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Premier League outfit Wolves are interested in signing the Monaco forward Keita Balde.
The highly talented youngster is currently on loan at Inter Milan and TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting that the Serie A club are keen on terminating his loan deal early. The report adds that Wolves are interested in bringing him to England.
Keita has struggled to impress for Inter Milan so far. A loan move to the Premier League could prove to be beneficial.
His style of play suits English football as well and the move to Wolves might just help him kick-start his career.
Wolves have struggled to score goals in the league this season and signing a forward should be their top priority in January.
If Keita manages to regain his form and confidence, he could be a superb addition for Nuno. The technically gifted forward is an excellent dribbler and is blessed with explosive pace.
The 23-year-old was very highly rated during his time at Lazio and he has the ability to transform Wolves during the second half of the season.
Here is how the Wolves fans reacted to the rumours earlier.

Is someone at Wolves just sat on FM flicking through the Senegal national team? Every day we’re linked with another one of their players! 😂

Kieran Tierney has disagreed with Alex McLeish's assessment of his injury

Kieran Tierney has disagreed with Alex McLeish's assessment of his injury – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney missed Scotland’s Nation League games against Albania and Israel due to a leg injury, and manager Alex McLeish was swift to point accusing fingers at Livingston’s plastic pitch for aggravating the injury.
Scotland went to ahead to record vital wins against both sides to secure a place in the playoffs for Euros 2020, but McLeish would have wanted Tierney in his lineup after eight others pulled out.
Celtic resume league action against Hamilton Academicals and the 21-year-old has revealed Livingston’s astroturf isn’t to blame for his knock.

KT: “I’m fine to play on any surface. My injury could’ve happened on a grass surface too.” #HAMCEL
— Celtic Football Club (@CelticFC) November 22, 2018

Tierney claims he’s now feeling better and ready to return to action, and Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers will be very delighted to have him return to action after he missed the international break.

🗣 KT: “Ive been back training the last few days and feeling better.” #HAMCEL
— Celtic Football Club (@CelticFC) November 22, 2018

The Hoops are currently top of the Scottish Premiership table after the opening 12 games of 2018-19, while they are third in Europa League’s group B ahead of the last two group games.
Tierney’s return to full fitness comes as a huge boost for Celtic, and Rodgers will hope every one of his key players can be available all through as we head into the second half of the season.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal injury update & predicted line-ups: Emery sweating on key players

Bournemouth vs Arsenal injury update & predicted line-ups: Emery sweating on key players – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Arsenal visit Bournemouth on Sunday aiming to end a run of three Premier League games without a win.
Three draws in a row has left the Gunners eight points behind leaders Manchester City and they will be desperate not to lose any further ground this weekend.
Bournemouth made a promising start to the season, but they have lost their last two matches against Manchester United and Newcastle United.
Arsenal were beaten 2-1 at Bournemouth last season, their only defeat in seven previous meetings in all competitions.
Bournemouth will be without right-back Adam Smith for Sunday’s clash at the Vitality Stadium.
The defender was stretchered off in their defeat at Newcastle prior to the international break.
Arsenal strike duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette should be fit to play after withdrawing from their respective international squads.
Mohamed Elneny will be available having missed the past few weeks with a thigh injury, but Laurent Koscielny is not yet ready to return despite stepping up his rehabilitation from his ruptured achilles.
Stephan Lichtsteiner is close to a return, but Konstantinos Mavropanos and Nacho Monreal remain on the sidelines.
Bournemouth are priced at 13/5 to win the game, with Arsenal on offer at Evens and the draw available at 13/5.
Predicted starting line-ups:
Bournemouth: Begovic, Francis, S Cook, Ake, Daniels, Lerma, Ibe, L Cook, Brooks, Fraser, Wilson.
Arsenal: Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Torreira, Ozil, Iwobi, Aubameyang, Lacazette.
Bournemouth vs Arsenal Betting Tips
Aubameyang has scored seven Premier League goals this season. Bet on the forward with 138.com to open the scoring on Sunday at 4/1.
Bournemouth won 2-1 in the corresponding fixture last season. They’re 11/1 to match that scoreline this weekend.

Manchester City star surely strongly disagrees with Van Dijk following latest claims

Manchester City star surely strongly disagrees with Van Dijk following latest claims – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Liverpool centre-back Virgil Van Dijk isn’t a fan of Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos.
The Spain international dealt a huge blow on the Reds’ chances in the finals of last season’s Champions League after his robust challenge on Mohamed Salah ended the Egyptian’s participation in the match.
Van Dijk recently told De Telegraaf that Ramos isn’t the best defender in the world and that he’s not his type of centre-back.
However, Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte disagrees. The Frenchman believes the controversial star sets the benchmark for defenders everywhere and he is probably the best in the world.
“Do I want to be the best defender in Europe? Of course. Any defender will tell you that – who wouldn’t want to be the best?,” the 24-year-old told Evening Standard.
“Sergio Ramos is probably the best centre-back in the world at the moment as we know we have to match his standards or better him if we are to be as good as he is.
“City have Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi, John Stones – all great defenders and we can all learn off each other. To get to the top, you must have an edge to your game, like Ramos does.”
Ramos is a master of the game’s dark arts as evident by the number of 24 red cards he has received in his career.
The 32-year-old has earned more than 270 cards during his playing career – more than any other player in the history of La Liga, the Champions League, and the Spain national team.
Nevertheless, his influence at both ends of the pitch sets him apart from a lot of his peers.
Ramos has close to an incredible 100 goals in his professional career for both clubs and country and has won every trophy available at both club and country level.
It’s understandable why Laporte singles him out, and Van Dijk will do well to put that Champions League loss behind him and acknowledge Ramos’ greatness.

Kris Commons claims Celtic star will struggle in the EPL. Kenny Miller disagrees

Kris Commons claims Celtic star will struggle in the EPL. Kenny Miller disagrees – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Celtic midfielder James Forrest has been in very fine form this season, with 14 goals for both club and country thus far.
His hattrick against Israel on Tuesday handed Scotland a place in the Euros 2020 playoffs, and the Hoops will hope he can keep replicating such performances for them this term as they look to defend their domestic treble.
Ex-Celtic star Kris Commons reckons Forrest isn’t consistent enough to play in the English Premier League, though, and this is despite the fact last season’s Player of the Year nominee registered 17 goals and 10 assists in 2017-18.
“His recent form has been sensational, but I think one thing with James Forrest since making his debut is his consistency. Whether that’s due to injuries, or just a lack of game time? But he’s an exceptional talent – a real, real top player,” Commons told BBC Sportsound.
“We’re still in November but it’s his consistency that stops James Forrest going into that next level, in the brackets of a Premier League club in England, because of the lack of goals that he scores.
“I don’t think you can go and get a multi-million pound move down south if you don’t get double figures.”
Former Rangers striker Kenny Miller, however, disagrees with Commons, as he believes he is steadily improving under manager Brendan Rodgers.
“He’s been pretty consistent since Brendan came in. Injuries, lack of consistency is maybe not really had that Celtic position nailed,” he said on BBC Sportsound.
“But since Brendan has come in, like many others, his came has gone to a different level.
“Last year he ended up with double figures and he’s already there this year if you count club and country. He’s absolutely on fire.”
Forrest’s form has been electrifying in the past two seasons, earning rave reviews from Celtic fans following his recent exploits on the international scene.
Should he keep on improving at such an upwards trajectory, the sky is the limit for the 27-year-old, and it won’t come as a shock if some Premier League sides come calling during subsequent transfer windows.

Bielsa reportedly wants to bring Tottenham star to Elland Road in January

Bielsa reportedly wants to bring Tottenham star to Elland Road in January – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Leeds United manager Marco Bielsa is keen on bringing Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente to Elland Road in January, reports The Sun.
The Spaniard and Argentine worked together at Athletic Bilbao, and a reunion could be on the cards in the coming months.
Llorente has become somewhat surplus to requirements at Spurs, featuring just twice so far in the Premier League this term – both as a substitute – and a move away in search of regular football would appeal him.
The former Swansea striker has few months left on his current deal, and Tottenham are said to be willing to let go of him for £4million instead of free by summer.
Leeds are eyeing top-flight promotion following a superb start to the 2018-19 Championship campaign, and Llorente will be a quality addition to Bielsa’s side.
The second half of the campaign will determine the Whites’ fate, and a quality and experienced striker like the ex-Juventus man can come very handy.
The 33-year-old also brings a lot of physicality and aerial strength to the table, and he will also be very valuable should Leeds get promoted.
Despite landing him for £12.1million last summer, Tottenham won’t hesitate to let go of Llorente and Bielsa will most likely pull out all the stops to secure the signature of his man once he is available.

Manchester United want Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic

Manchester United want Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic – originally posted on Sportslens.com

Manchester United’s need for defensive reinforcements has seen another name added to the growing list of potential signings.
According to Sky Italia via Sky Sports, Manchester United are keen to sign Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic.
At 6ft 5ins, Milenkovic cuts an opposing figure in Serie A. A regular this season for Fiorentina, the 21-year-old has the potential to be a perfect fit at the heart of United’s defence.
The Serbian international has great technical ability, and offers a great range of passing. He’s still far from the finished article, but could thrive under Jose Mourinho’s tutorship at Old Trafford.
Milenkovic started his career in his homeland with Partizan Belgrade. In May 2017 he made the move to Italy to sign for Viola for a fee of around £5m.
The powers that be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi will not want to lose such a young asset, and reports have suggested they would expect a fee upwards of £40m.
The Red-Devils have conceded 25 goals in all competitions this season. Much to the annoyance of Mourinho. Injuries and poor form from Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, has left The ex-Chelsea boss searching for reinforcements.
United might want more of an experienced addition to tighten up at the back in light of the disappointing start. However, Milenkovic would be a wise investment for the future, and a good option to have on the books.
